The Dream Cymbals 18” Dark Matter Bliss Series Paper Thin Crash brings together the best attributes of Dream’s two most popular lines to create a truly unique, studio-ready cymbal tone. Based on the warm and versatile Bliss Paper Thin crash, the Dark Matter Bliss retains the same rich, complex voice and dark overtones the classic Bliss range is known for.

However, each cymbal is then put through Dream’s proprietary Dark Matter repeat firing process. Exposed to extreme heat twice, the molecular structure of the alloy is fundamentally altered, creating a cymbal with a strong attack, and a short, dark sustain – ideal for adding punchy accents without washing out your recordings. The process also creates the cymbal’s enchanting, smokey look, making it as perfect for the spotlight as it is for the studio.
