The Gretsch Ash Soan Signature 12 x 7'' Purple Heart Snare Drum is designed for paramount versatility and musicality. Firstly, a 9-ply Purpleheart shell sings with great sustain and the necessary volume to boot. It's not overwhelming, however, cutting through a mix with just the right amount of lows and musical mids and a great crack when tuned high. With 45-degree dual bearing edges and die-cast hoops, the drum is focused. Featuring the Gretsch Silver Sealer Interior, the oil-based paint seals and protects the shell and increases resonance. With a focused attack, it works great during recordings - something paramount for Ash Soan.

Covered from top to bottom in high-quality Gretsch hardware, this is a musical workhorse. Its 12x7'' dimension makes this a great main snare for crack, depth and richness, whilst its size also lends itself to a great side snare for a pop or deep thud. Blending with any setup, the Gretsch Ash Soan Signature 12 x 7'' Purple Heart Snare Drum is a must-have for the fans of Ash Soan or those looking for a unique, musical drum for any situation.
