The 7-ply maple construction gives each drum a warm, punchy sound with a quick, resonant response. Whether you're playing live or tracking in the studio, the shells produce rich lows, defined mids, and crisp highs. Maple is a go-to tonewood for its balanced character and projection, making this kit suitable for a wide range of genres and playing styles.

Classic Gretsch bearing edges enhance control

Each shell features a 30° bearing edge—a signature Gretsch design that helps bring out warmth and clarity in every hit. This edge shape encourages more head-to-shell contact, which means more focus and less overtone. It's a big plus for drummers who want better control over their sound without relying heavily on muffling.

Hardware and heads built for performance

The 2.3mm triple-flanged steel hoops strike a balance between durability and openness, letting the drums breathe while keeping tuning stable. The fitted Gretsch by Remo heads are ready to go from day one, delivering reliable tone and feel without the need for immediate upgrades. Chrome hardware across the kit adds both strength and a polished finish.

Smart shell pack design with included hardware

This shell pack includes a matching 14” snare drum for a consistent sound profile across your setup. The double tom holder makes mounting quick and easy, reducing setup time and helping you lock in your preferred playing position. Sizes include two rack toms, one floor tom, and a punchy 22” kick drum—ideal for everything from rehearsal rooms to live venues.
