The Istanbul Agop 19'' Xist Dark iON Trash Crash Cymbal offers similar tonal properties to the Xist Dark iON Crash Cymbal, with an even more dynamic and complex take on the original Xist iON Series. This cymbal features dry, dark, trashy tones with a fast response and an incredibly quick decay. The patterned holes across the surface of the cymbal control the resonance and mid-range frequencies for a more balanced sound overall that's easier to capture with microphones. The Xist series of cymbals feature Istanbul's pre-form casting technique for an authentic look and modern sound. This cymbal is ideal for the progressing musician who wants to take a step away from conventional sounds and explore a whole new dynamic.
