SONIClear design keeps your tone open

Every tom and floor tom in the Saturn VI uses the SONIClear™ bearing edge and suspension system. These features allow each drumhead to sit flatter and vibrate more freely, which improves both tuning stability and resonance. The SONIClear™ suspension further lifts the drum off the hardware, keeping shell vibrations uninterrupted for a cleaner, more musical tone.

Floor tom legs built to enhance sound

The 16” floor tom is supported by SAS static 90° legs, which travel straight down to the floor rather than angling outwards. This design reduces the amount of energy lost through the hardware, helping the shell resonate more naturally. Combined with the Sonic Pedestal feet, which float the drum slightly above the ground, the floor tom rings out longer with improved sustain.

Smart venting boosts shell response

Each drum is vented with a different layout based on size and application – all carefully positioned along the shell’s nodal lines. This allows air to escape in a way that supports the natural tone of each shell. Toms respond quicker, bass drums feel more powerful, and everything sounds more alive thanks to the intelligent airflow design.
