- The compelling mix of smooth, trashy hihats and crashes along with an impeccably versatile ride contributes to a deeply vocal cymbal sound for your kit. Included in this set are 15” Dual Hihats, 18” Dual Crash, 20” Extra Thin Hammered Crash, and 21” Polyphonic ride—all from the Byzance line. The cymbals have been carefully paired to complement each other in both tonal response and feel. With a hammering and lathing combination resulting in a silky-smooth feel with earthy definition, the 15” Dual Hihats are wrapped in a touch of shimmering glow from the outer band of lathing and polishing. The 18" Dual Crash explodes with a blossoming, trashy tone from its hammered surface and unique lathing. Its attack delivers a perfect melt-in-your-stick feeling, while its sound blankets you in nuance. Simply put, the 20" Extra Thin Hammered Crash will make you buzz when you hit it. The ultra-smooth, yet super trashy response is nothing short of “must-have”. Finally, the 21" Polyphonic Ride features a thin edge for easy crashes, a lathed body for sweet stick response, and a large, raw bell for projection to create an extremely versatile ride. All Byzance cymbals are crafted in Turkey from B20 cast bronze.
