The AQ1 features birch shells across the full configuration, giving you a naturally focused sound with strong attack and defined lows. Birch is known for its balanced response, helping your toms cut through while keeping the bass drum tight and controlled. Whether you’re rehearsing with a band or tracking in the studio, you’ll hear clarity across every drum. It’s a dependable foundation if you want articulation without excessive overtones, making tuning straightforward and results consistent.

Compact configuration with serious versatility

With a 20" x 16" bass drum, 10" and 12" toms, a 14" floor tom, and a 14" x 5.5" snare, this five-piece setup covers a wide range of styles while staying easy to manage. The slightly smaller bass drum keeps your footprint compact, which is ideal for tighter stages and transport. At the same time, you still get enough depth and projection for live work. It’s a practical balance of power and portability that suits regular gigging and practice alike.

Hardware included for a stable setup

The included HS 2000 hardware bundle, complete with the SS XS 2000 snare stand, gives you a solid base straight out of the box. Each stand is designed to offer dependable support, helping your kit stay firmly in place during longer rehearsals and energetic performances. That means less time adjusting and more time playing. If you’re building or upgrading your setup, having matching hardware included keeps everything consistent and stage-ready.
