The Tama SLP 14 x 6.5'' Hybrid Bubinga & Maple Snare Drum is ideal for drummers wanting punchy low-end with crisp attack in both live and studio settings. The 7mm shell combines six plies of Bubinga with two plies of Maple, offering a unique mix of warmth, body and projection. A 6.5'' depth enhances low-frequency response, while the 2.3mm Sound Arc hoops help to deliver a focused rimshot and controlled overtones.

The outer Zebrawood ply finished in Midnight Zebrawood Burst adds a bold visual statement. Chrome hardware includes a Linear-Drive strainer for smooth snare tension control and 20-strand Hi-Carbon snare wires that bring out the detail in every stroke.
