The Vic Firth American Custom HD4 Drumsticks are ideal for jazz quartet and chamber music thanks to their lightweight, refined design. Based on the original SD4 but constructed from hickory, these give you great speed and articulation around the kit. Hickory construction also ensures maximum durability and the classic, solid feel for those who prefer it over the Maple SD4.

A barrel tip ensures a full but articulate sound for versatile, dynamic playing. For a stick that's super thin and perfect for jazz, the HD4 lends itself to funk, pop and other dynamic styles of playing too. A barrel tip achieves articulate cymbal touches and piecing bell sounds, whilst pronouncing every hit on drums - a true stick for the players.
