The Yamaha SS8W Double Braced Snare Stand is built for drummers wanting stable support, precise positioning, and easy adjustment. Its double-braced legs provide a sturdy foundation, while the Ball Clamp Tilter gives you smooth, near-continuous control over basket angle and rotation. This makes it easy to position your snare comfortably and place the strainer where you want it. The stand can also retain its basket angle when packed down, helping you get back to your preferred setup quickly.

Yamaha's Tone-Enhancing Basket Rubber flexes as you play, reducing vibration transfer between the snare and stand so the shell can resonate more freely. Yamaha's testing also found increased sustain in the lower frequencies. And when securing your drum, the ergonomic basket adjustment knob uses a built-in metal washer for smooth tightening with minimal effort.
