Responsive yet loud. A dark crash that doesn't compromise on volume. The 18'' K Dark Crash features an explosive and cutting attack, followed by a darker, washy decay. The stick sound is clear and defined when playing the surface. With a beautiful, buttery sound, It can even be used as a ride in some situations. The initial transient is bright, which is what gives the K Dark Crash the extra cut. Larger than the 17'' Dark Crash, you can expect more volume, a darker sound, and greater rideability. Made from hand-hammered B20 bronze, the Zildjian 18'' Dark Crash would be a great versatile option for any kit.
